| The Galliton |
The Galliton is the newest attraction in Lucban, Quezon Province. It is based in the famous houses used in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Ring (house of Frodo and Bilbo. This made possible by the Batis Aramin Resort to offer new and unique attraction in their province.
But before we go to our main topic, allow me to introduce first the municipality of Lucban, Quezon Province. Lucban came from the word "Lukban" known as Pomelo. It is considered as 2nd- class municipality and also dubbed as the "Art Capital of Quezon Province" It is situated in the feet of Mt. Banahaw making its weather a bit colder.

Lucban is also known for its Pahiyas Festival which is celebrated every May 15 in honor of San Isidro Labrador the farmer. Some of the residents compete for the best decorated house where they usually use vegetables, fruits and the famous "Kiping" made in rice. Are you ready to visit Batis Aramin especially the newest attraction named The Galliton? Actually, it's very easy to locate this place and if you're familiar with the Kamay Ni Hesus, just in front of it. There are two options, ride in Lucena Grand Terminal or in Pacific Mall located in Lucena Bayan (if you're there already). Transportation details is posted in the last part of the article.

Welcome to Batis Aramin Resort! Just ask the guard where to find the reception area where you can ask the rate details. The structure of the Front Desk Area is very nice, the interior looks so classy and weather is so cold! The Accommodation Rate is posted in the last part of this article.

This map is free and provided by the management of Batis Aramin Resort. It looks so wide in the picture but in reality it's not. Front Desk Area is located in No. 6 where you need to pay entrance fees and other fees that you want to avail. The Galliton is located in between No. 31 and No. 34. Every number has its own instagrammable spot so make use of it.

Lambingan Bridge is made for your mad girlfriend / boyfriend to make you lambing after passing that bridge (oh no, I'm not good in making joke LOL). It is located in No. 10, just few steps away from the reception area. Continue walking and you'll see a giant statue of Gorilla (I intended not to take picture of it coz you might think it's me (another joke died, poor me LOL). Just keep going and enjoy the views of their rooms, pool area and bridges.

After 5 minutes of walking less the time used in photo opportunity, you will see this signage showing the direction going to the The Hobbit Feels in Lucban, Quezon. The concept of The Galliton is based in the famous houses in New Zealand and eventually used in the films of The Lord of the Ring and The Hobbit. It has 4 different houses, two of the houses are real room while the other two are just made of cement and only used for photo opportunity.

TIP: For best selfies, I suggest you used real Camera like Nikon (my kind of brand for pictures). But in case (like in my case) you missed it or you don't have it, you can still use your phone but REAR CAM is always better. Be creative, multiple shots is always better for you to have many options. Download photo editor if you want to add different taste (like what I did in some photos here). Wide shots is better for landscape and focus shots for portrait or selfies.

After visiting The Galliton, go to Teresita's Garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery and its unique designs. A place for selfie lovers and good for photo shoot. It is full of different kind of flowers such as Sun Flower, Celosia and Kamantike. The resort designed it with a car, a bicycle and other metal structure.

This generation loves to take selfies not because we are GGSS (if you know what I mean) but we all want to have memories, a copy of places that we visited. So take as many pictures as you can and share it with your family and friends. Promote it so every Filipino can see it and eventually, visit the place.

In front of Teresita's Garden, you will see this place with Korean ambiance (maybe it's just me). It's good for selfies and photo shoot if you want to. You will enjoy the fishes (I'm not sure if those fishes are Tilapia).

There are many activities to avail such as rock climbing, zip line, maze and many more. I don't know if this maze is free but I tried it for free. It took me 3 minutes to find the exit and freaking crazy if you're a first timer. Try it and you'll gonna love this activity.

After visiting the newest attraction Batis Aramin Resort and if you still have time, take time to visit the bayan of Lucban. It's just 5 mins. away from this area and you can ride a jeep or a tricycle if you're in a rush. The San Luis Obispo de Tolosa Parish Church or commonly known as Lucban Church is under construction as of September 2019. Try to eat their best and famous Lucban Longganisa, for me it's the best and very affordable for only Php 70.00 (12 pcs.) If you're heading back to Lucena Grand Terminal, go to the Pamilihang Bayan ng Lucban and you'll see the terminal of jeep going back to Lucena Bayan or Diversion.
