Dingalan Aurora | Light House | Batanes of the East

Dingalan is a third class municipality in the province of Aurora. It is bounded on the west by the provinces of Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, on the south by Quezon Province and Pacific Ocean on the east.

When we heard the province of Aurora, the first word that comes to our mind is Baler. The surfing capital of the north-eastern part of the Philippines is the famous tourist attraction of this place. We all loved that place but Aurora is not just about Baler. Let me introduce this newest attraction in Dingalan, Aurora and dubbed as "Batanes of the east".

How to get there: Ride a bus in Cubao (Five Star Bus) bound for Cabanatuan, fare is Php 180.00 and approximately 2-3 hours travel time. Once you arrived in Cabanatuan, ride a van bound for Dingalan, Aurora and pay Php 100.00 fare and additional 1-2 hours travel time. Then ride a tricycle going to feeder port for only Php 20.00 (10 min).   Lastly, rent a boat for Php 500.00 RT going to White Beach where Dingalan Lighthouse is located. If you're in a tight budget, trekking from Feeder port to White Beach is the other way (30-45 min trek). From White Beach, hire a guide that will lead you towards Dingalan Light house and pay Php 100.00 per head.

If you have more time here, I suggest you to visit the best known cave in Dingalan called Lamao Cave in Brgy. Paltic for its majestic beauty. The rough shoreline and very high waves  of Dingalan makes it attractive to surfers.
