Date: May 10, 2023 | Location: Baler, Aurora

Baler in the province of Aurora is one of the most popular surfing destinations in the country. Big waves coming from the Pacific Ocean is truly the highlight of Baler experience but this province has also other great tourist attractions. This includes some magnificent waterfalls that can be seen in the municipalities of the province and other exciting activities to try when you're here.

Balete Tree

Balete Tree, a century old tree in the town of Maria Aurora is said that it would take 60 people holding hands with arms outstretched to encircle it and it considered as Aurora’s most visited attraction.

Ditumabo Falls

Ditumabo Falls, known as The Mother Falls is one of the most popular destinations and main attractions in the town of Baler. Its crystal clear water makes the waterfall look enchanting! In addition, its strong current makes it even more beautiful. Indeed, Mother Falls is the grandest waterfall that you could ever see in the town that why it's the tour's best moments and definitely the highlight.

Baby Falls

Baby Falls is one of the best spot before reaching Ditumabo Falls. You'll enjoy the cold water running from the top of waterfalls. I really enjoyed this falls because it's not crowded and I saw something very important in this area. Curious about it? See the last photo.

Caunayan Falls

Caunayan falls also known as L. Pimentel Falls is easier to hike and it is a pleasant environment to have your picnic and outing. There's also an artificial pool right before the main entrance to the falls where kids and adults can swim to their delight.

IG spot in Ermita Hill

Ermita Hill is one of the highest places in Baler. You may learn here about the Tromba Marina,  a destructive tidal wave that wiped out a huge part of Baler on December 27, 1735.

Diguisit Falls

Diguisit Falls is comprised of two waterfalls – one bigger than the other and only differentiated by its water current. It is one of the many falls in the province of Aurora that show how abundant the fresh and clean waters are in the municipality of Baler.

Diguisit Beach

Diguisit Beach is famous for its rock formations in Baler. The Aniao (Anyao) rock formations and Lukso-Lukso Islets (Diguisit Islets) nestled here in the shore of Diguisit Beach

Hanging Bridge

Hanging Bridge is also famous when you visit Baler. You can see a 360-view of Baler's long and wide river. It's a 5-7-minute walk from both end.

City Tour is a must try  when visiting Baler. You'll able to see the house of Mrs. Quezon, Church, Baler Signage, Museo, Manuel Quezon monument and the souvenir shops along the road.

Jade Vine

It's surreal experience to see personally this rare kind of vines here in the Philippines. I saw this petals coming from the top of baby falls and I couldn't believe it at first but it's real!
