Hulugan Falls
Hulugan Falls is located in Brgy. San Salvador in the municipality of Luisiana, Laguna. It is considered as the newest and newly opened attraction of Laguna for nature enthusiasts. It features rain forest, other nearest waterfalls and hidden caves. It’s also considered as one of the topic trended online like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Looking for a new attraction made it easier with the use of these social media accounts.
How to get there: you must ride in DLTB Bus ( Cubao / Alabang ) branch, fare is Php 140. It is a 2-3 hours travel time so it’s better if you eat first of just bring some foods to eat. Once you're in Sta. Cruz, ask the local people there where you can ride a jeep going to Lucban. You’ll be paying Php 30.00 fare per person and inform the driver to drop you at Brgy. San San Salvador, Luisiana, Laguna. From the Brgy. San Salvador, you need to ride a tricycle going to the jump-off area where registration area is located, Php 25.00 per head.

You’ll be paying for Php 15.00 per head and they’ll assign a tour guide for you, no fixed rate as of February 6, 2016. They were all trained to secure visitors from harm, to bring things if needs help and to advise the tourist to be discipline and responsible for the protection of the place. If you want to eat, you have many options to eat that serves authentic foods of Lucban and Luisiana like Hab-Hab (eating pancit with the use of your mouth), Tupig and many more.

Muddy Road
As of now (February 7, 2016), there is an on-going road innovation for the local people as well as the tourists. By the time you reached the muddy part of the trail, be extra careful because it’s steeper than the usual trail. It's better to use a trekking sandals here for your safety and it is easier to clean than shoes.

Difficulty starts here
This is the starting point where you will experience the difficulty of the trail. The terrain going to the falls is muddy and steeper. The local people made an artificial bamboo holder for the safety of the tourists from getting tumble. Just enjoy this trip because it is more adventurous ad memorable if the trail is in this kind of situation.

Crowded Trail
It’s the usual scenario during weekends and holidays. You will experience the delays in your itinerary because of this kind of problem. Better visit Hulugan Falls during weekdays specially Tuesday to Thursday to enjoy the place alone with your friends.

Raging Water
The raging water coming from the Hulugan is fantastic. It is allowed to go there but make sure of your safety because those rocks are a bit slippery. The feeling when you are in that area is the best, extraordinary, truly relaxing, refreshing and epic! You can’t ask for more, it's all worth it and a must share experience.

Beautiful Scenery
Your group can stay in this cave like area. It is the best part for your things to be get protected from spatter of water droplets coming from the waterfalls. It is also a good place for nature photography like this picture. The mossy wall is stunning beside the Hulugan Falls, it's very wonderful and picture perfect.
