Aliw Falls
Aliw falls is another attraction for nature enthusiast located in Brgy. San Jose Luisinana, Laguna. They said that it is just a side trip of Hulugan Falls where is also located in Luisinana but Brgy. San Salvador based from what I've read from different article but when you personally see it, you will definitely appreciate its beauty and how unique its rock formation that made it not just a side trip but a must see attraction.

How to get there: It is better if you visit this place as early as you can so you can maximize your time with these 2 different falls (Aliw & Hulugan) located in Luisiana, Laguna. Ride a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna, I suggest DLTB Bus Terminal in Aurora, Cubao beside 7/11 convenience store and in Alabang if you're from the southern area. Fare is Php 140.00 and approximately 2 1/2 hours travel time. Drop off at DLTB Terminal in Sta. Cruz then ride a Jeepney going to Brgy. San Jose (10 minutes away from Brgy. San Salvador), fare is Php 30.00 and additional 30 mins. travel time.

From the jump off area, you will encounter the local people who's in charged in assigning personal tour guides for tourist. They also offers budget friendly meals if you want to eat first before heading to the falls. Tour guides are required for the security as well as safety purposes. As of now (February 7, 2016), no fixed rate for the guides so it is up to you on how much will you pay for their service.

Province Be Like
(Left) Fishery & Farm (Right)
It’s really relaxing to witness how beautiful the place is with these sceneries and the feelings when you experience the ambiance of a province. Rainy season is the best time to try this kind of nature tripping to experience the raging water current of the falls. Muddy trail will definitely add an adventure to this kind of outdoor activities. I suggest you to visit this place on a weekday basis to escape the crowd that usually happens during weekends and holidays. You will absolutely appreciate the surreal beauty of the falls if there's no huddling scenario

The Muddy Foot
It's obviously not stolen, he just wanted to show how muddy the trail is. It's better to walk with your bare foot to prevent from getting tumble. The trail is steep and very slippery during rainy season so you should wear a sandals because aside from its light weight, it’s also easy to clean. Just enjoy the moment by playing the dirt / mud throughout your feet.

Top Of The Falls
It’s not a breath-taking trip because the trails are easy and can be handled by a beginner. The best part of this nature tripping is on the top of the Aliw Falls where you will able to see how beautiful the place is. The tourist are allowed to go up to this area with of course the guidance of your tour guides. You will enjoy the scenic view of the forest around the falls and will have an opportunity to experience the relaxation under raging water of the falls.

Chasing Falls

Under The Raging Waterfalls
This is the best place where you own the place, sit while staring at the falls, talk your happy moments throughout the trek, enjoy sight-seeing, enjoying the nature, the fresh air, the cold water and lastly, your moment to have a best group shot in Aliw Falls.

Flower In The Falls
A beautiful flower beside Aliw Falls is really eye-catchy because of its stunning appearance. I took a single shot of this flower to share how beautiful it is. I just hope that the next tourist will just do the same thing as what I did. Just take pictures and never bring anything about in this place because it’s still best to maintain its natural beauty.

Pool In The Mountain
The best part of the trip is about cleaning your dirty body. You have two options either you avail the comfort room only for Php 15.00 or the swimming pool w/ comfort room accommodation for Php 30.00. It's a great way to freshen up in this wide shallow pool. It's very good for a tourist to have this kind of reward after a tiring day in the mountain. You can also try their Karaoke as well as the foods and drinks. That they’re also offering.
