HOW TO GET THERE: (TIP)
Better leave the Metro Manila around 6-7 PM because travel time from Manila to
Tuguegarao will take 13-14 hours so that your arrival will be around 7-8 AM
(sleeping while traveling is a great way to maximize your itinerary).
Take a bus bound for Tuguegarao
City in Cubao or Alabang. Bus lines like Victory Liner and GV Florida are the
choices that have daily trips going to Tuguegarao, fare is Php 650.00 with a
travel time of 13hrs. Booking a flight particularly in Cebu Pacific is also an
option to go to Tuguegarao, 1 hr. travel time only. From Tuguegarao, ride
another bus or a van going to Sta. Ana, Cagayan and pay another fare amounting
Php 200.00 and another 3 hrs. travel time. Once in Sta. Ana, look for the town
center where public market is also located. If you’re riding a van, tell the driver
to drop you off directly to San Vicente Port if possible. Once in San Vicente
Port, take a 20 minutes boat ride going to Palaui Island for Php 3,500.00 (max.
of 8 persons) and additional Php 300.00 for overnight.
