Kwebang Lampas / Puting Buhangin
Puting Buhangin also known as Kwebang Lampas is one of the hidden paradise in Quezon Province. The place remains not so crowded and have preserved its natural beauty. You'll gonna love its white sand, pristine emerald clear water, it’s one of a kind cave and the whole shoreline itself. It was well tended because of the local people who take good care of the beach. It is open for public and very easy to access.

How to get there: It is located in Brgy. Isla Polo in Pagbilao, Quezon Province. Just ride a bus either in Cubao, Buendia or Taft going to Lucena City. It's a good thing that there are trips every hour in several bus stations especially in Jac Liner Bus Cubao station. It will take 3 to 4 hours travel time before you reached the Lucena Grand Terminal. Once you arrived in the terminal, ride a jeepney going to Pagbilao (Php 12.00) where you can ride another Jeepney that will lead you to Brgy. Isla Polo (Php 35.00). Lastly, ride a tricycle going to the jump-off area for a special ride worth Php 150.00 fixed rate. Note : Wear a face mask because the road is very dusty.

St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church
But before you go straight to Brgy. Isla Polo, you should visit this church with an amazing statue of St. Catherine. It's the tallest statue of a saint that I saw for the very first time. It's just a walking distance from the terminal of Pagbilao. You will definitely loved the old-fashioned style of  the houses beside the church.

Once you're finished with the church experience, just ask the local people where the terminal of jeepney going to Brgy. Isla Poli is located. It's just a matter of 5-10 minutes walking from this area. Another 45 minutes travel time will be consumed going to Brgy. Isla Polo. Once you're there, ride another tricycle going to the jump-off area, fare is  Php 100-150.00 or depends on your negotiation with the driver and how many you are in a group. Lastly, you will ride a boat for only Php 35.00 for you to reach the entry point of the hidden beach.

The Tower
At first, you will think that this is a light house or any structure related for fishermen but it's actually an energy related tower. I don't know its real name but it's still okay to know the real purpose of this tower. You'll encounter beautiful rock formations within this area. It's really good for picture taking because of its beautiful impact to camera.

On our way to beach
Another exciting experience here in Puting Buhangin getaway. You need to trek for about 10 - 15 minutes before you reached the beach itself. No worries because the trail is not misleading you're still exposed to sunlight. Just follow the pathway and you'll see the hidden paradise of Quezon.

Kwebang Lampas

The place is truly wonderful and peaceful. The sand is really powdery white just like in Boracay. The local people called it as Kwebang Lampas because of this cave from a huge rock that serves as a boundary from the other side of the shoreline. In low tide, this cave is passable and you will experience how it feels inside the cave.

Puting Buhangin
Introducing the beautiful beach of Puting Buhangin. It's not the typical beach resort that offers so many water activities and hotel accommodations but you will enjoy its natural beauty. It's literally has a white sand where its name came from and the pristine light turquoise clear water of the beach. There are still a lot of activities to do such as swimming, snorkeling, caving and if have you have so much time, you can do island hopping including Dampalitan and Borawan Beach.

Barefoot
Yes, those are my feet after the traumatic experience caused by a jellyfish. I got stung by a plastic like transparent jellyfish. I didn't noticed anything when I walked near the shoreline then all of a sudden, I felt something and got freaked out because it turned out to be itchy and quickly affected my knees. I was worried that time and thinking like am I going to die? My brother asked help from the locals, they don't have vinegar so they just poured a gasoline on my feet as my first aid method but it wasn't that effective and still itchy so my brother poured an alcohol in addition to that. Thank God, the effect was just like that and nothing happened to me after that unexpected incident.
